@Casey Gunzl To save yourself a lot of time and needlessly going through a bunch more information and opinions, I would do exactly what @Dan Heuschele says and I wish I had someone to tell me that exact thing when I was 19 or even when I was 25.

It probably won't matter, but the costs and hassles of needless extensions needs to be addressed.
