@Mark Vejnar & @Mike Hanneman San Antonio is notorious for Expansive Soil, if I see cracks, or doors that swing as if acted on by gravity, I think foundation.

The sand I saved to bed in the water line .Second was to dig a 4 ft deep trench from the house to the well head This was 80 feet long , had to go under 1 sidewalk and move stone out of driveway to be reused .Third was to lay in the water line and electrical conduit . ( I could have just layed the wire in the trench but I prefer conduit ) And then hook into the old well line .

If you fix the foundation, you almost have to fix the plumbing leaks because the water will eventually compromise the soils over time and lead to movement of the slab/foundation.

It's a life full of surprises/misery and sometimes I cursed myself "why do I need to do this", but then when I checked Zillow and went to the tax guy, I'm happy again for no reason.Nowadays I can answer random landlord questions like (-) which state you need to file tax when you receive loss at your K1 (-) what's the cost of fixing a plumbing in Alabama (-) Why are property taxes so high in Texas and IL (-) Why house soil condition is not that great in Montgomery (-) why there's a lot of HVAC thief at blablabla (-) this neighborhood in Indiana is really bad because ..... (-) Can I receive QBI deduction again ??
