Does anyone know what the real estate climate there is like?

In a cold climate if that lower level is on slab has to be something there.   

It seems so similar to Coastal Queensland in climate that I can imagine why so many people move there.And thanks Josh!

Appreciation and rents have been strong, but I am concerned about climate change and the fragile nature of the home insurance industry here, as rates are rising fast.

In San Antonio TX (for instance--a Sub-Tropical Climate) Section-8 does not require an A/C in the unit, but if it is there it must meet certain standards:--  The AC (if provided) and Heater must be working and maintained within the unit at all times.-- Between November 1 & March 31, interior temperature must reach 65 degrees or warmer.

Theres a strict pricing guide for rv/boat.Land, riprap, graded and gravel, fencing, lighting, Covered metal structures (usually 3 sides)Fully enclosed (climate controlled)You should build what has demand in your area.

I have done some research about Tampa Florida and I liked it mostly for the weather and climate.

Every part of the country has differing climate and differing weather patterns.

I have heard that too...........heat pumps are no good in cold climates.
