Take the deal. if there is an issue with an inspector or an HOA, go to your local butcher, have him carve up some thick steaks, and you know who you need to invite to a party!

I probably butchered that a little, but I think its a good point to consider when trying to find the "next hot market" to purchase in.  

The other reasons are I don't have the time to be the baker, the candle stick maker, the butcher and the accountant. 

I had 20 inches between the end of an existing run and the window, I put an 18" DW with a piece of butcher block on top.

It needed quite a bit of work -we finished the basement and added a second full bath, all new flooring, interior paint, doors, appliances, painted cabinets, new butcher block counters.

Kitchen: refinish cabinets if they're in good shape, replace counter tops with granite or butcher block, add or refinish the backsplash (peal and stick surprisingly looks great, is inexpensive and a DIY), add or replace cabinet pulls, new faucet, appliances if needed.

Kitchen features new shaker cabinets, butcher block counters and stainless steel appliance.
