Trying to do this sort of business without knowledge of that law will get the wholesaler into deep doo doo.If I was going to do one of these workshops, I would take the one our REIA puts on periodically.

Investor Workshops in OC, Invest Club for Women (men welcome, I am a member) in Irvine and Studio City are two I would recommend.Lots of great info on the site too, stay active.

Michael D'Aries That's great advice, and if you don't know how to do the handyman stuff, Home Depot has weekend workshops where you can begin to learn.

Another option is to rent the garage seperately from the house for storage or a work shop.

I was thinking green shutters, but then the red door might make the place look like Santa's workshop.

I did come across Lifestyles Unlimited and am in the process of completing their 7 day workshop that they offer.
