Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

No one has talked about it but with a floating vinyl plank the proper way to repair is pull it out all the way up to the damaged spot and reinstall it.

We lost our lease and moved the store so we took up the flooring and re-installed it in and 1100sq ft rental.

If you lose you have to move your fence and hardscape and most likely pay to have their grass reinstalled.

the idea situation is to move the steps, pour a proper base and then reinstall. I

But, I'm sure that eventually I'll have one of these animals trash the place and need to repaint/reinstall flooring. 

A pest management company inspected today, gave me a bid for almost $5K, to install bat guards on roof vent and remove a small area of soffit that squirrels had infiltrated, pull it out and replace installation (squirrels ate it), patch the opening they are getting in at, and reinstall the same soffit since it's in fine shape.

It is not that old of a home (1999) but we are told that the tiles either have shifted or were not put on right so the whole underlayment is no longer any good-  So we have been given a quote to remove all tiles, replace the whole underlayment and then reinstall original tiles (maybe a few new to replace broken ones). 

But definitely make him re-install it. 

I had already installed grab bars in the shower and those will be re-installed in the new shower to enhance safety.
