@Robert Taylor This looks like one of those cases where everyone is right, even though they differ.If you are building a long term enterprise, then you can certainly benefit from consistently doing certifiable quality improvements and exercising good will in your transactions.

I sense that you might be wanting your Contractor to be vested in your enterprise, and you seem to be trying to "hedge your bets" a bit, but, will your Contractor agree to 50/50 in any LOSS too?

@Varinder Kumar,If you can, try choosing a name this neutral and generic, like "xxx Associates", "xxx Industries", "xxx Enterprises", maybe add "of (state-name)", if needed.

I have seen regulators do strange things but if any regulator even proposed expanding their guidance to encompass credit decisions, the pushback even within HUD, not to mention FHFA and the Enterprises because of establishing a very dangerous precedent would be so swift that I doubt anyone would even know of such a proposal before it was quietly killed internally.Even Liz Warren isn't that out of touch.
