I use dark walnut stain for easy touch-up when required.

The texture does cover a lot, and has imperfections already.This guy said how hard it would be to match the paint color and he would have to feather the paint out on either side of the repair.I had a crazy idea to try to do this myself, too.

Your husband I'm sure feels it is his responsibility to protect you and the child but if you bring in people into your sanctuary, whom you don't know their dark side, how can he protect the ones he loves.Take it one step at a time before you know it time will fly by and things will fall in place.
