Some primary areas I'm interested in:-Thoughts on Section 8 multi-family-Investors interested in areas surrounding Mercedes-Benz dome (English Avenue, Vine City...AKA The Bluff)-Target financials-New constructions vs. fix up vs. as-is-Syndications/fundraising/private money/loans/etc.

I use Southern Oak for one of my units in Decatur. 

Of course you can talk tough and try to bluff them but I suspect you are in a weak legal position. 

I have lived in the city for 8 years now and I know it's a good area with a lot of wealthy families (Oak Park, IL). 

I have a decent network of contractors near Oak Park/Forest Park/Berwyn area.

I live in Sherman Oaks but down to meet wherever like minded investors.

I have called there bluff. listened to them, asked them about grandfather clause about code when house was built.

This is not about what it's worth to have a good tenant, this is about calling their bluff.
