Remember that to show the property, they will most likely need to disturb their tenants, also tipping their hand that they are selling - in many cases the tenants do not know.b) It sounds like your particular owner has had a number of offers fall through.

That said I would try to stand the complaining short term because with reno anyone is going to be disturbed and you don't want to start a new market rate tenant under a construction zone if you don't have to.

Let your agent know that you now rent the place and ask if your home owner's policy needs updating.You can prohibit pets, they chew things, bend window blinds, disturb the neighbors and make wet spots if left unattended.
