I recently got a secured credit card and will use it to pay off debts and then make payments on the card (like a chain reaction) hopefully it works lol.

All my listings specifically say no cats as I am very allergic and no dangerous breed dogs which are spelled out in my listing due to insurance. 

His stance that all debt is bad seems to be an extreme reaction to a traumatic event that happened to him.

You didn't mention what region you were considering moving to, so maybe it will be similar enough culturally or a big enough town that it won't be an issue.My first reaction to your post was - No!

My knee jerk reaction is to talk with an attorney about making sure I can terminate the lease, but another landlord pointed out that their rental history has been good and there are no new negative accounts since 2013.Still too many negatives?

Makes sense that a single woman willing to rent in your neighborhood might want a big-booty dog in the house :-)A dog is only as good or bad as the tenant -- if she passes all the screening tests (including the "gut reaction" test), then you're stuck on trying to do everything perfectly according to the Gods of BP and stalling on making a decision.  

That is just the reaction she uses to push you back away. 

We're not sure of their ability to ever pay back.I'm surprised about the strong reactions here against cash for keys - I'd heard so many positive things (including on blog posts here).
