Rent collection would be done electronically (via Quickbooks and an ACH payment service) so that would not be an issue.

I own a small business and use an ACH processing company for the majority of my customs payments.

Just curious if anyone uses this services and what the actually fees are Hi Shane,For our eCheck/ACH transactions, which are a debit from the tenant's checking or savings account the fee is a flat $3 per transaction for monthly and bi-weekly payments while weekly recurring payments are $2.  

@Brigham LewisMy belief is that college is virtually useless unless you’re going into something like medicine, technology (debatable), engineering or architecture, accounting, that kind of thing, or if your end goal requires an advanced degree (my degree is in psychology bc I wanted to do counseling, which requires at least a masters - I had kids and never went back, and got into real estate instead).

I told him there was no need as I would become a geneticist or medical researcher & could pay off my student loans in no time.Fast forward 20 years, and not only did I not get a degree in Biology/Pre-medicine, I didn't even graduate UCSB. 

I mean you need a licensed to be a GC right.. you need a license to drive  you need a license to practive medicine you need a license to fly you need a license to sell real estate you don't own other wise why have a real estate division at all..???

One of my management companies actually has the tenant pay rent online and then they do an ACH to my bank account.

Lynda,There are some IRA custodians who will handle Tax Lien certificates, but the only way they can give you funds is via a paper check and not through ACH transactions.

I pay the "premium" of $5/mo. which gives fee-free ACH payments for my tenants.
