They persist even when I explain that if they can't speak English they can't sign the lease.

They were 4 non-English speaking guys working at the refinery. 

They offer forms and they are generally solid AND in plain English.  

CH4+O2 = H2O + Co2 or in English, Methane + Oxygen when burned becomes water plus Carbon Monoxide.

I also don't speak Spanish fluently, although I can get by in a pinch. 

To me, their words sound like Charlie Brown's teacher until they give me cash, then it sounds like English.
