Clear House rules, consistently enforced; routine periodic inspections; monitoring vehicles for current tags and insurance; and an easy to use camera system to monitor and document common areas 24/7 are a necessity.If, on the other hand, you have very little knowledge/experience with maintenance and repairs; or want to rely on a PM "app", and a "team" yet to be assembled...probably not a good idea at all.

One alternative idea I've had is to actually use a wifi video camera that records the meters -- however that is not the most streamlined approach.So is anyone using connected water submeters and how have they worked for you?

One of the camera batteries was dying so I didn’t want to drain it completely by repeatedly checking the rings.

I can make someone else responsible with all kinds of legalese and threats but unless I install CC surveillance in the homes none of it is going to matter in the practical sense.It gets even stickier in multi-family homes, which is our primary bread and butter.

They also have hybrid class online and as I understand it, you have to log in and be on camera at specific times.I'm guessing in person or live classes are proably about $1000 for the basic license...and maybe another $200-$300 over the next couple of years to take your additional SAE.Our brokerage KW also has a free online course, self paced all on your own if you are good at reading the material and then taking the quizes all on your own. 

Would you recommend installing a camera in attempt to catch and prosecute whoever is taking the money if someone is in fact doing this?

Stand right next to the guy as the camera shows the pipes - that way you can see with your own two eyes what he is actually seeing.

I'm primarily looking for a cost effective solution for potential cost segregation on a property bought about 3 months ago to see potential savings for all the dirt work/gravel/fence/gate/cameras.

The house is SMALL and the neighbors have cameras.
