What payment method do you all prefer when it comes to accepting rent?

Offer and deposit submitted and accepted by 8AM that morning. 

Got him to accept an owner hold (@18%) that out-lived him, but once renovated I immediately refinanced it. 2 years ago we turned down $495K & earlier this year the much smaller untouched 1940's 2 bedroom bungalow next door went for $499K!!!

The only risk you  run is someone else making an acceptable offer on the same day. 

Hello BP,We just recently got an offer accepted on a house here in Anchorage, Alaska.

If they wanted to close today, they should accept the closing HUD statement and get their check. 

In my situation they make them acceptable investments and a good diversification. 

Acceptance of rent from someone constitutes a legally binding, oral lease agreement.

There won't be a Canadian federal officer knocking on your door late at night and Canadian banks will be able to accept and transfer Canadian dollars.
