Genuinely wondering, given that selling for cash is rarely a person's best option in terms of capturing equity.Additionally, realtors code of ethics is not that valuable in actual practice, and con jobs are a matter of degree.

Especially if it's one you have a genuine connection too who wants to see you succeed.

Then come back in a week and have a genuine conversation about them and ask her questions about them that you didn't understand.

With this being said do you believe acquiring a real estate license helps 'cut through the fray' to find those properties that are genuinely worth the time/money?   

Even something as simple as being able to say that you are pursuing your degree in RE can mean an awful lot when it comes to a job interview with a property management company or something similar as it shows that you are genuinely interested in learning about this field and see this position that you are applying for as more than just a job, but it is your passion. 

I personally know too few people with a genuine interest in real estate beyond tossing the terms "I rent a house" or "I rent an apartment" around.  

This man is a syndication machine and he sounds so genuine and eager to help people learn the business.

Even if he is and has SOME rights to inquire there is a line between harassment and genuine inquiry.
