The bad part is that they eventually fail.In my neck of the woods, we budget $35,000 for a new system but hope for $20,000 - $25,000.The driving factor is how well the soil drains.

If they have entered the structure, then, the Termite guy can tell you how much damage and what to do...The pipes in a slab thing is everywhere in Florida because of the salt in the soil and galvanic action from making the water pipes the electrical ground etc.
