September is our slowest month (my guess is back to school, hurricane season, etc.) with October also slower but picks up a bit from September.  

Inventory did rise, but we are also approaching the slowest time of the year.

@Tyler Sherman My company manages STRs & MTRs in the Charlotte area and would be happy to share knowledge.   1) Exact location of the home is going to be a huge factor as well as other factors such as amenities etc.  2) January and February are by far the slowest months in Charlotte across the board.

We're about to go into our slow season here, things really drop off after Halloween and if you go with #3 you'll be listing during the slowest time of the year, (the holiday season when the least number of buyers are active).
