Whats going on with Jacksonville FL airbnbs - many 90% vacancy rates

Running numbers on several airbnbs throughout Jacksonville and seeing that the average listing right now has between 0 and 5 days booked for all of September. Is the airbnb market very seasonal there or just way too much supply? On the other hand LTR rates are shooting up in jacksonville and there is VERY strong demand for LTR right now.

I think this is par for the course right now @Henry Lazerow. Shorter booking lead times, fewer people traveling as well as higher numbers of STRs available.

I think @Caleb Brown is also correct about school starting. I would bet that most of the Sept bookings are Labor Day. I know our lakehouse is booked for Labor Day but only 3 other days in Sept.
