I have a home that is for sale that just had its inspection and there are several things that need to be fixed but I would prefer not to go through my contractor since he would be very expensive.The items are things like patching a small foundation crack, scrubbing a small bit of mold from the crawlspace and fixing the alignment on one of the closet doors, etc. things like that.Appreciate any referrals!

Worst case scenario you can pay a VA to scrub the list and convert it into spreadsheet or CSV that you can mail directly from.  

If there is areas not yet painted try a good scrub with TSP

The lender knows the capital markets people pre-scrub the borrower and property before coming to them which is why the VP and or President of the bank will take the call.

I am wanted to know what some of you have done to possibly unofficially/officially employ these guys to help me drive streets, look for properties that are distress or fit my criteria from the curb in my farm area, and take addresses for me to later contact after scrubbing through them at home.Ideas so far: just feeling this out with several high school/college age friends my wife and I know, a general consensus is that most would be happy to do this for just a full take of gas and if we land a deal they get a cut/flat rate.

@Matt McCourry, I am not sure where you got your list from, but before I mail anything I spend a lot of time "scrubbing" the list.

After a while of working with him, he sees the passion and drive in me but delivers that sense in a belittling way, saying comments like "loser with passion" or "scrubs."
