@Eric Tsang - condensation build-up on interior surfaces is an indication that you may have too much humidity inside combined with the interior and exterior temperature differentials.

All three can grow when the relative humidity in a space remains too high for too long.Your photograph is very familiar to me as I see this on furniture in humid environments, and in empty spaces - those not receiving conditioned air - regularly.I won't say that you shouldn't worry, but I will make these claims:It can be easily cleaned/wiped, and vacuumed from every surface.

Phillip:We use a variety of liquid, moisture, and humidity sensors with our building monitoring set-up to detect leaks (or when a bathroom fan or the HRV needs to be switched on) and have begun incorporating them into our renovations.That said, with the exception of humidistats on bathroom fans, the best offence we've found is prevention.

The property tax is a scam, the houses fall apart and are have been made by track builders (Perry Homes) with the lowest standards of workmanship, the pests and humidity require more maintenance than any house I have ever owned.
