I have an electrical background my father is licensed so not afraid of upgrading services and fixtures that other investors don't want to touch. 

Hi David,  I just set up an LLC for my father through a lawyer in Williamsburg. 

That way you can bypass a bridge loan.I have borrowed $50k from my father to float some of the purchase of a Dental practice my wife owns...we simply pay into an account that we use to periodically pay him back lumps sums.

My father and I are a part of their group of syndicators - pretty active with over $250M and 4300 units acquired in the last 12 months alone.  

My Father in law purchased his home back in the 80’s.  

As a college student traditional financing won’t work for me anymore as I already had to get my father to co-sign my 1st loan.

My father in law is a real estate professional and my wife is a “partner” of his in several properties.

As a new father, I welcome this since there will be times it's hard for me to be onsite.Would it be reasonable to assume he wants some of the profit post sale or would his profit solely come from his commissions for the buy and sale?

We will start by renting this out to my father in law.
