I'm headed there Friday to help a friend gut his parents house and will keep an ear out for people talking about ditching properties.

I am also considering ditching platforms altogether and going back to just using the Airbnb and VRBO platforms natively. 

The city recently ditched the registration requirement because only 10% of pet owners actually complied (I was one of that 10%) and it was too expensive to go after that many delinquents for an annual fee of 10 bucks.  

If you go Option 2 and you have to ditch the property you could be in even worse shape financially.I don't think option 3 is even worth considering...

@Elizabeth Conklin you said that the PM has been excellent other than this issue--if that's the case, I'd be hesitant to ditch them; especially since this seems like a solvable problem. 

Ditch this guy and spend some time learning.

I'm frustrated that rent manager isn't more accounting friendly.In my opinion, using separate accounting and pm software is redundant but at present I haven't learned enough about rent manager to be comfortable ditching accounting software.
