We pulled the carpets out of the home and found hardwood floors.

Basically, to really get your floors clean you need something that sucks the dirty water back up, like a carpet cleaner.

I do not feel as though the pet fee they paid means they don't have to keep floors clean, I needed to pay a professional carpet cleaner to try to remove the dog smell.

And assume everything is a little worse than it looks given the tenant's stuff is probably blocking some problems and things like the carpet and paint will likely look worse when they move out.Lastly, is it necessary to go over asking?

I was figuring on painting everything and laying all new floors as it has some ugly blue 80’s carpet in it.

Plan to start small, buy a condo or townhouse wholesale that only needs cosmetic upgrades i.e paint, carpet etc.

By the time basement had 2-4 inch water and started flowing on carpets.

If people want carpet they can add area rugs. :)
