We're a vertically integrated real estate company that owns and operates multifamily assets, we're a private bridge lender, and we're also the largest Realty Brokerage in regards to transaction volume in PA. 

When I questioned why the neighbor's home needed to also be repaired, I was told that that it would avert any damage done to the neighbor's porch when my porch side was repaired.

At which point I started 33 which is a vertically integrated real estate firm with business lines in leasing, property management, construction, investment brokerage and distressed real estate consulting.  

They were willing to do anything to avert another Great Depression.

Overall, it gives you a vertical and horizontal explanation of real estate investing with multifamily properties. 

Tragedy narrowly averted.

If you have an asset that averts risk best by being paid off- then that is an extraordinarily underperforming asset.

It looks like this wide crack (from the picture looks like is a good inch on one side then less on the other plus a vertical crack that seems to follow a brick wall against concrete slab foundation.  

I’m not sure how that is still affecting today when I could be wrong but are probably averting about 2t in new debt each year.2020 was about 4t.
