@Nicholas Brady - I squeaked through High School and got an apprenticeship as a Power Lineman right out of High School.  

Degree in machining technology as well as into a new machining apprenticeship job.

Have you thought of learning a trade where you can get an apprenticeship and get paid while you learn.

Have you looked into the education and apprenticeship requirements for your state?

I'd recommend looking at your first 2-3 years in real estate as an apprenticeship.

What made apprenticeships advantageous, was the hands-on application they allowed in a safe and controlled environment coupled with the learnings in the classroom. 

If it were easy you wouldn’t have the years of apprenticeship required to become a licensed electrician.
