To make a long story short he basically told me that the owner developed Parkinson's Disease a few years back and it's getting so bad that he can't do much any more so he is kind of desperate to sell it.

Typically, mold is only a problem to those easily prone to disease.

I also aspire to one day start a charity in support of Parkinson's disease on behalf of my late Grandfather. 

I also want to add, my wife's grandmother has dementia and early on she went through a year or so of accusing all of her relatives of being thieves and trying to ruin her life, I remember it being a normal part of the disease.
