Knowing that I spend 175+nights in hotel rooms, would I be able to charge rent to a tenant/friend and pretty much just use it as my mailing address/ have a futon and crash there on select weekends?

Update: Kitchen is coming along nicely.Read a tip from another BP'er about a usb outlet so I added a 4 port usb charger to backsplash area  that has seen constant use, great tip!

MH you should be able to walk through your self  they are probably fairly ratty.I think this sounds like a pretty neat deal.. although management can be an issue but just give the park owned one's away and charge rent.. so you don't have to fix any of the trailers. for the tenants. good luck with it.don't be scared 1k and a little of your time is nothing to be frightened about.... and if its a good deal someone else will snag it and you will be kicking yourself.let us know when you close will be excited to see how it operates.

I bought a S in Sept for 72k minus tax credit was only 66k.. both brand new.you can get to your 48 k number buying used.. now these are cars you can keep for 10 years realistically.. plus where my super chargers are I rarely have to charge at home.. so they are free to drive when it comes to energy.. and you just can't discount how absolutely cool they are FAST quiet and same luxury as a BMW or Mercedes or Lexus of which I have owned many of those over the years..
