He stuck around long enough to make sure we were ok as well as everyone else but before the police got there he left, I am ok just bruised though but the doctors gave me some pain meds (Tylonol with Codene) and I just took a couple to ease the pain, still had to work last night, can't make any money staying at home lol....

Go to the police station and tell them you'd like to make a special deal for an LEO since you support them as a great upstanding citizen.....well, don't over do it.Point out, the reason you're cutting rents is two fold, one to give a LEO a good deal, the other is to have a known police presence in the neighborhood.

One description of this SFR says "Property is occupied by transients, drive only, please don't go by yourself it can be dangerous"Um, okay, so maybe I can see why this is the only fixer in the area that is not listed as "Back-Up Offers Only".... but, if someone buys this place I would assume the new owner can go in with police and clear the place out, no?

I have had great neighbors watch homes for me (police arrive a lot quicker when neighbor call PD as opposed to alarm company calling in an alarm).

Our city police actually recommend landscaping with thorny bushes under windows to deter crime.Roses bushes can be easily managed, it's the blackberry bushes that get out of hand.
