I'm 6 months into my real estate investor career - and for the most parts the process has been smooth.  

Today, there are submarkets that are slow and the prices may adjust and market times will come up;  A transition to a buyer's market.  

I am looking to transition out of the military and into the civilian world and I am very interested in future opportunities with Real Estate Investing. 

If you are comfortable with it, be a bit sentimental about wanting property near your parents.If you come up with a good letter, consider working with a list broker so you can mail to seniors who might be ready to downsize or transition to assistance.Good luck

There is a lot of time and energy and money lost in career transition.  

The time between the transition and finding renters was knuckle gripping to say the least.

I want to invest passively (after a potential portfolio transition) for the highest return possible via cash flow and growth.

If everything goes smoothly, then I may feel it easier to put trust in him on larger projects on the property, if they were to come up.Let me know, thanks everyone!

So like most newbies on here I am looking to transition from my current occupation to real estate with my primary goal being buy and hold rentals.
