It's not so easy to buy a credit default swap as an individual investor..Lots of loans being originated now with a rest in 5 years and the yield curve is steepening. 

If anything the FED is cementing its position as the Worlds Central Bank even more by reviving swap lines and finding ways to provide even more dollar liquidity to other central banks.

Rather than buy and hold while paying down a 30-year note, go for things that have a 5-7 year timeline, then swap into something else.Age can be an asset to you. 

Windows should be in good shape, but I wouldn't swap well maintained single pane for dual, ever.
