I've had success selling the vacant land I'm picking up on Facebook Marketplace but recently it seems to have really slowed down.

Additionally, if I successfully am able to secure the property (again, seems like this is a must) then should I just keep pushing through the renovation to try and break even on the flip?

Pay for performance.  1st one is always at full price, if you want to discount a bit on future deals is your decision depending perhaps on the volume and the amount of work required.
