Getting on the path!

Hello Bigger Pockets folks,

I’m an early career professional mechanical engineer (~8 years) hoping to learn the ways of real estate investing and make the ultimate pivot. My dream is to have the freedom to pursue my passions for people leadership, engineering, and a healthy lifestyle outside of the corporate ladder. Rehabbing properties and building a portfolio of rentals are two avenues I’m considering to get started. Though I’m based just outside Boston at the moment (Medford), I’m aiming to invest in smaller suburban and rural communities in the surrounding region. Expanding my network to learn from others is immensely important to me so I’m looking forward to making new connections. I have a 5-year old mutt who’s my best friend, recently engaged to my fiancé of 5 years, aspiring Adirondack angler, learning JavaScript and Golang, self-taught whiskey “sommelier”, Lego fanatic, and car geek.

Looking forward to being a part of this community!
