It was an aggressive Kirby salesman that took advantage of a woman that was elderly and dealing with reduced mental sharpness.

It is being sold by an elderly couple who used to run a fairly bustling vacation rental business there years ago (according to them), but scaled it down as they got older.  

In both of these cases the home was owned by the children of an elderly parent/s who had passed away.

Does anyone know the Medicaid requirements in regards to penalizing a elder for selling their house well below market value?

It was a 1000sqft apartment (for their elderly mother) in a basement in a very nice house worth at least a million dollars and I was very fortunate that they allowed me to be the general on the job and that they gave me a chance.

They told me it was a tear from heaven, that they earned in the boy scouts for doing good deeds for the elderly... uh oh

. - In my experience power will be shut off but will be resumed without payment in circumstances involving families/children, elderly, people with medical conditions, outdoor temp influences, etc.

Also, elderly tenants are not adaptable to new technologies.  

I'm in a situation where I'm about to purchase a flip and the elderly lady living in there needs a week to move out after closing.
