I dont think anyone thought you were a lawyer.. doing skip trace and getting QCs does happen usually private detective type work.. pretty tough to do if you dont have access to Lexus Nexus.

The unit was rented "as is"BUT the 3 prong outlets are essentially false advertising..... it made it appear that the system was grounded and could accommodate most modern devices/appliances....but it can't.

You really want to make sure that the land you are buying doesn't have any major constraints that can't be overcome, or even if they can be remediated, at what cost, i.e. environmental, soils/geotechnical, adequate access, zoning, etc.
