Yeah I'd go with corrosion is the problem, because barring your specter being the culprit, the fuses are still good and the electric isn't getting a chance to get to pass through them or they're bad and doing their job.

I always wondered about that type of situation, the seller agreed on the asking price but they need to know your intentions so that they are comfortable with that, there getting what they signed the contract for so i don't think they would mind since they did agree on the set price at signing, but on the other hand if they did not know your intentions on making a profit off them, it might be a good idea to be ready for a bar room brawl at the closing table....lol

Furthermore, I didn't want my daughters working late night jobs &/or bars to make spending money, but they did work (hard) on the properties.The payback comes when they sit down one day & appreciate how we did it & then how quickly they want to get immersed in the RE business.

I don't have experience on the other side of the counter, but in the same way that a movie theatre is a snack bar that happens to show movies, a skating rink is a snack bar and arcade that happens to also have skating.
