The cost of an employee (depending on your state and business structure) can really add up once you account for all the overhead which goes into their work (labor, equipment, insurance, taxes, business administration). 

This reduces the time it takes for the funds to clear the Client Trust Account and for this reason, the only usually gets their money as regularly scheduled. 

Although my monthly returns from lending may have been steadier, my average annualized returns have been bigger with syndications when you take into account the upside potential at the sale of value-add deals.
