Oven/Stove: Clean racks and inside of oven (including drip pans) to completely remove all stains.

The paint is thick and covers grease stains as well. 

Downstairs, the woodwork is all stained, which I will be leaving as is, it looks very nice.

You only need to prime (with oil based kilz) if there is nicotine stains/grease stains/marker, crayons.

We also had photos and an inspection done when we took over and there were no leaks, stains or loose drywall at that time.

Simple touch up work, paint, landscaping, re-using the old cabinets by sanding them and staining them for a more modern and neutral look.

Wanted your thoughts on what type of paint, composition and brand you've had great experience with in terms of long term durability, shine and easy to wipe off stains.

If your rental still has decent cabinets, you can always stain or paint a color that works with what you currently have.

Ones nearby of almost identical location & build (2 story) are going for $305k fully updated flooring and appliances.Friends condo has the original carpet, pet stains, original paint, appliances and cabinetry.Has new AC.We don't have a ton of money to buy it. 

I was horrified by how they left the place: pet urine stains and odors on the carpet, which I had to replace.
