Anyways main concern, excuse the lengthy intro.

I tend to hang out in a spot near the river late at night here and have ended up in lengthy conversations with many of them.

I realize that the answer to this question may be too lengthy to write as a response here, but I sure could use some advice.

Are the state by state filings just as lengthy as the original SEC filing?

I'm also trying to avoid the lengthy and intimidating CA BRE's contract (I'm not licensed) and use a simple 1-2 pager.  

Military length is suspended for up to ten years if you are moved due to qualified extended military duty or if you were required to move farther than 50 miles from your duty station .  

@Joe Prillaman Not knowing your reasons for getting the RE license and your intended direction of things, I will have to speak more for myself as an investor who got RE license and assume we are on same wave length. I

I would check your state laws to see what that time length is, but i can't imagine that it is 14-15 years.
