It certainly depends on the industry we're mailing for, but yes, we see a distinct slowdown in response around the Thanksgiving/Christmas season, another between spring break and end of school (followed by a short burst of OK response in many markets), then a slowdown during the late June - early August vacation season.If I could do all my mailings during early spring, when the good weather lifts people's spirits and makes them more responsive, and again in September/October, I'd be pretty happy. 

Not impossible but families rarely move, few look at homes the week of Christmas (for example), and whatever snow-hurricanes hit do impact prospective tenants showing up.

It's a Christmas joke!

I spend a lot of my time helping others and giving back.I just received a Christmas card, a box of Luxury Belgian Chocolates and a $100 Starbucks gift card from one of my mentees as shown below.

I also work can to can't (I've worked every day since Thanksgiving including Christmas eve and Christmas day).

(but I've been on my current job as a temp for less than a year) Honestly this one might come down to my ability to write well and my relationship to that particular underwriter - if she got sufficient Christmas cards, etc, from me, if this were a "pick me up" deal that Wells or whatever preapproved you for. 

A friend at my old job (cablevision) knew I was trying to invest and she came to me and told me she was 2 months behind on her mortgage and she didn't have money to buy Christmas gifts for her two daughters.  

These are signs of pending collapse, and such walls should be rehabilitated or reconstructed.Oh, and Merry Christmas!

The day before Christmas Eve, I got an MLS alert that the price had dropped.  

Since shortly before Christmas I've been dealing with two vacancies that were by far the worst I've ever had.
