I would find a legal excuse to pass on both and keep looking....If I had to choose, I would choose puppy....as long as the breed isn't prohibited on my insurance.We all have tenants that we call "insane" and "unstable" and a huge hassle to deal with...sorry, but I'm not very comfortable signing up for one where I already know they have mental health issue...sorry.But bottom line is that you better have a LEGAL reason to decline them...

And unemployment rates were the highest a couple months ago and the market seemed far more unstable then, so if they were going to impose a fee, that would've been the time to do it.

We laugh at people buying property for 5% return but fail to realize that for people in many other countries, 0-5% return is much preferable to investing in their own nation, with shaky currency, unstable governments, and insufficient resources and means to support the population.
