If your return on cost and payback period for the mini split investment is attractive then yes, it could be worthwhile.   

Where as with hydronic heating you'd need to have a air handler with ducts or mini split ductless units.

Around 25 years ago, I knew someone who owned a building (shed), a few mini storage units on a lot in a town.

My thought would be that you could probably buy a smaller mini or maxi storage facility and self-manage it. 

Why not look into buying a storage or some mini-mall.

But until that happens, I would like real estate to help me with savings (wholesaling and househacking) and my ability to have "mini-retirements" in the meantime.Hope to make some great connections here! 

I also purchased a mini excavator/bobcat combo last year and run around doing that work on the weekends.

My goal is to acquire as many houses as possible and become a mini bank.
