Meaning the all-in costs (taxes, insurance, marketing, rent and any additional CAM fees) must be less than their max "operational percentage".Example: Restaurant 'A' does $550/sqft in sales (which is typical of a burger joint, or a Chipotle).

@Chris Jensen, the 1% rule (rent rate s/b 1% of your all-in costs: purchase, closing costs and rehab) as an initial vetting criterion works well in this area.
