I had one that tucked into their contract that I had to pay their blind cleaning company per window annually, whether or not it was a turnover, and wouldn't remove it from their requirements (it would have been like over $400 each year to wipe down some blinds).

I found out from the neighbors that the house belongs to an old couple (70 yrs +) and I directed the letter in a very helping manner in order to draw a response.I used a Yellow Legal Pad with a blue magic marker, that I tucked in a very thin white envelope with the owners first name addressed on the front.

@Scott Benton reminds me of when I was in my twenties and instead of balancing my check book I wrote  checks to myself subtracted them from my balance and tucked  them away.

This will also allow the tenants or home owners to keep their stuff there (like garbage cans though they could tuck them under the stairs which is more convenient) and hide it from view so it doesn't look like a dumping ground.

I found my realtor through BP and he has guided me through the purchase process and it has been great so far.With purchasing the property, I knew there were some minor maintenance tasks that needed to be done such as: tuck pointing the stone outside, fixing a wooden window trim on the attic, fixing the front porch light, placing doorbells, fixing a laundry room door, and removing a broker lock from the front door.

If you are talking about the small boxes (maybe 2 feet high and 3x3 feet) tucked in a corner by the sidewalk, I wouldn't worry about it.
