We did at my friends house and his floors were salvageable underneath.I have also found floor refinishing to be fairly inexpensive.

This building was newly rehabbed in 2015 and in 2020 the basement was refinished and unit 1 was converted to a duplex down and is a 4/2.

Just needed to be refinished...and dismantled to get out of the house.  

Here are some pictures: I'm in the process of getting the floors in the second unit refinished and heeded the advice extended in many of the posts that predate this one "get multiple contractor bids!" 

I've dealt with wood floors and lots of painting / refinishing stuff, repainting the walls and having the floors professionally refinished will completely solve it; make sure you have them actually refinish them and you will be fine.

The tub repair people are encouraging me to refinish the whole tub because they say it won't match if I just do the bottom and it will only be a little less expensive.

Projects include refinish hardwood flooring, bathroom and kitchen facelift, tile shower, install can lighting, etc.

Refinishing a bathtub shouldn't be either.
