Currently the switch is just set to an outlet for a floor lamp, if I end up deciding to change that to a ceiling light, I might as well do a fan as well!

He's pretty much a "one man shop" so he probably can't take anything on too big, but if it's anything to do with rough carpentry, finish carpentry, finished basements, decks, painting, flooring, and even some basic plumbing (fixture replacements) or electrical (outlets, light fixtures), then he could be the guy you're looking for.

Hey all,A frustrating situation I (first time residential home buyer) am in;Our inspection came in on a 2 story 1500 sq foot 1920s house(as-is) in Roxborough with 2 major concerns:Basement - Joint rot that was addressed by adding vertical supporting beams towards the end of each joint (but they lack 'snowshowing' at the base and might be advisable to add additional for support)Electric - Knob/tube wiring and 0 grounded outlets through entire the houseThe issue is our inspection doesn't have an estimate, only a recommendation to get an additional specialist inspection for that to obtain an estimate.

This house was completely converted for a person who is hand capable so all of the door ways are sliders, there is a ramp in the house, the bathroom is super big and has a massive shower/tub, and the kitchen cabinets are lower as well as all of the outlet switches are lower on the wall.

Fortunate for me, I reached out letting them know I could smell pot and although I'm not sure if it was them or a neighboring building, reminded them that there was a strict no smoking policy .
