Most free sources like realtor.com, zillow.com pull data from county/public tax records. 

Before investing $1,500, I'd recommend checking if there is data showing potential tenants actually need/want this amenity.

I recommend connecting and consulting with an account representative at PadSplit to get their intake and see if they can provide any data on room rental rates/demand.

You need to look for a Securities Attorney (not a real estate attorney)As @John Sayers mentioned, you can get ownership with a GP by doing other things, like bringing the deal, asset management, data research, etc.

Don't assume it needs replaced without checking. 

While there are costs associated with purchasing properties, the platform itself offers free access to property details and market data.
