@Anthony Ward Thanks for your service and seems like a good idea to plan ahead some...even though you still have a few years....a couple of things I might consider....hopefully you get out fully in tact...but if you think you might have any medical issues and want access to VA healthcare system...you might want to move somewhere there is a VA hospital or keep an eye on how the Community Care program shakes out.
