You can't reduce the enforcement on illegals, while increasing federal aid, giving free health care, raising minimum wage and increasing the taxes on those that actually pay them.

Look, if I wanted to blame Bush for stuff, I wouldn't have brought up the TSA...I would have brought up the $2T spent on ridiculous wars, the $700B spent on public healthcare (Medicare Part D) and the $1T spent on bank bailouts (TARP).

The type of REIT that you pick should be based on common-sense of course + your personal bias :-) For instance, for optimal demographic trends you might look at hospital/healthcare REITS, high-end luxury property REITS, or self-storage REITS.

The biggest sectors of Philadelphia's economy are education and healthcare, so with its close proximity to both UPenn and Drexel, and an easy commute into center city; I see it as a desirable place to live, that will always have student rental demand and can cash flow reasonably from day 1(although you may need to look on the outskirts a bit).
