Basically, everything is done except for refinishing the hardwood floors, installing light fixtures, bathroom accessories (mirrors, towel bars, etc) and we are still waiting on the quartz counter tops for the kitchens and bathrooms to be delivered.

We are simply planning to update the bathrooms, refinish bedroom floors, open up a kitchen wall, tidy up basement and do a little landscaping.

They seem to be holding up going on month 3 ;) but i've heard good things from asking around.For floors/bathrooms, there is a company in your neck of the woods called Miracle Method that does epoxy refinishing of tile floors, counters, tubs etc...

Sanding and refinishing what's there, or cutting some 1/4 inch plywood to fit and finishing that might work.

If it's minimal damage, say spots where the varnish is damaged, sanding and refinishing will usually take care of it.
